A native of Florence, Italy, Nina Ricci arrived in France at the age of 12. In 1932, she founded her couture house and in 1946, she embarked on the creation of perfumes (the most famous being L'Air du temps 1948 with a Lalique crystal bottle. Throughout her long career she has also collaborated with artists such as Andy Warhol.
